Spring 2016 Newsletter

GREETINGS!
The sap is drips into the buckets up and down MacArthur Road, the sugar house pours out steam and smoke to boil that sap into liquid gold.  Green shoots of early snowdrops and crocus poke up through bits of last fall’s leaves, swollen buds promise pussy willow and forsythia.  Spring is in the air!!  Although this winter has not been a hard one, I am always deeply grateful for getting through it safely, (and sanely) and watching the sun return to this bit of earth.  And my dogs show their gratitude as they find any sunny, dry spot to bask and collect the warmth.

EVENTS
Are you interested in Animal Communication?  I have teamed up with a friend and we have arranged for Marta Williams to come to do a training!  Marta is a renowned communicator from California, and this is a splendid opportunity to develop our intuition and communication skills with our animals.  I will be sending out a flyer soon with details, and you can watch Marta’s website for registration details- martawilliams.com.  But save the dates: July 9 and 10, with 11 and 12 as additional days if there is interest.  To be held at Stage Road Farm in Guilford, VT.  So incredibly exciting!

Also- this weekend, March 12th, there is a showing in Northhampton, of the documentary
The Champions, which details the rehabilitation of a few of the dogs that were rescued from the horrific and despicable dog fighting ring run by Michael Vick.  I have not yet seen this movie but have read about the dogs, the organization that has done so much of the rehab, and the woman who made the documentary.  It sounds like something not to be missed!  Here is the link-
And perhaps we should look into a screening at the Latchis sometime?  I would be willing to team up to work on that… let me know if you want to help.

Also- Wednesday, April 13th, I will be hosting a Brown Bag Lunch at the River Garden in Brattleboro, from 12-1 PM.  I will be talking about and demonstrating dog massage and Reiki, and how they benefit the ever so lucky recipient.  Spread the word!

REMINDERS
Mud season is coming so there may be days when you can’t make it to my studio, or I can’t make it to your home.  I apologize in advance, and will be happy to adjust locations and schedules in any way that makes us able to continue our fabulous work together.

Also- I am updating my cancellation policy and want you all to be aware of this.  If you need to cancel your appointment due to scheduling conflicts I will ask for AT LEAST 24 hours notice. This allows me time to adjust my schedule and make the best use of my time. If I don’t receive that notice I will ask for 50% of my fee.  Of course weather, accident and illness are exempt from this completely.  I hope you all understand this.  My time is valuable, our sessions are important for both of us, and this will keep things running smoothly.

GRATITUDES
A huge and heartfelt thank you to you all!  You make my days so much brighter for the time I get to spend with you and your animals!  I appreciate your trust, your smiles, your commitment to your health.

Be well and much love,

Megan Littlehales
