About Megan

Megan MacArthur Littlehales grew up in the green mountains of Vermont with plenty of freedom to explore the woods, streams, and lakes nearby.  She walked, wandered, and adventured with her dog and  horse, covering miles of woods trails and dirt roads. This planted the seed for a lifetime of devotion to animals and the outdoors.  Sharing a home with many dogs and cats, raising and caring for horses, goats, sheep, chickens and other fowl, working at stables, veterinary offices; these all have led her on her path.

Megan carries deep gratitude for the opportunity to offer care and support that allows people and animals to lead richer, healthier lives. It is a gift that she loves to share.

Megan is a Shinpiden, or Level 3, certificate holder in traditional Japanese Reiki, through Frans Steine of the International House of Reiki, as well as in Animal Reiki through Kelly McDermott-Burns of Heartsong for Animals. She is also a Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui tradition of Reiki through Sarah Root, of Radiant Alignment, and a certified Reiki Crystal Healer, through the John Harvey Gray Center for Reiki Healing.

Megan is certified in Canine Therapeutic, Sports, and Senior Dog Massage through the Rocky Mountain School of Animal Acupressure and Massage. She received her Equine Massage Therapy certificate through the Holistic Animal Studies program of Angel's Animals.

Both of these massage trainings incorporate in depth study of anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, massage techniques, and animal psychology, as well as learning about diet and holistic health.

Megan is certified in the AromaTouch Technique for people, which uses essential oils for a gentle, aroma-therapy massage to ease the body, mind, and spirit.

In addition to these trainings Megan holds a BA in early childhood education from Vermont College, is a Life Coach certified by the Coach Training Alliance, a minister through the Universal Life Church, and a Master Gardener through the University of Maine Extension Service.
