May 1st is traditionally a day of hope, regeneration, and celebration. Yes, spring has fully arrived and it's glories are apparent everywhere. However I did not do a May pole dance to celebrate the ripening to come, instead I chose to sit quietly (alright, I did surround myself with daffodils) and contemplate how this last year has fed my heart and soul, my dreams and ambitions.
End result- I am completely flooded with gratitude! My spirit is uplifted from the flow of loving energy in and around me! Every being I meet, every session, every touch of skin or fur, these moments become my guides and teachers, and I live in a state of perpetual learning and growth. I bow down in thanks for the unexpected insights that come when I work, for every person and animal that trusts my heart and hands, to the power of my struggles to cultivate change, and to the sweet, healing beauty of my gifts. Happy Birthday Lady Moon!
